About Me:
C.C. Chapman has been called everything from a new media maven, a podcasting pioneer and even a grounded futurist. He prefers to call himself a passionate member of the new media playground who enjoys helping build the community and connecting everyone in it. He was most recently the Vice President of New Marketing for crayon, a leading conversational marketing firm. He was the project lead for the highly successful Virtual Thirst campaign for The Coca-Cola Company. He has also completed work for diverse clients from The Weinstein Company to Busch Entertainment.

C.C. was one of the early adopters of podcasting and he has worked hard to insure that the community continually grows larger and more together. His passion for independent music inspired his award winning podcast Accident Hash that has turned into one of the largest music podcast in the world. It recently won the 2006 PodSafe Music Podcast of the Year award and the 2006 Podcast Peer Award for Best Music Podcast. He was one of the first producers signed to PodShow and was the project manager for the creation of The PodSafe Music Network.

As a speaker, C.C. is sought after to speak on a variety of topics including musician rights and leveraging the new media space in business. His other podcast, Managing the Gray, takes this topic and boils it down in ways that anyone from a CEO to a college student can understand and become excited about. Considered by many a trail blazer in this field and one of the most friendly.

Based in metro-west Boston and a graduate of Bentley College, C.C. gets the most pleasure out of spending time with his family and friends. He is extremely active in the blogosphere and podosphere communities and is considered an influencer and connector by most. His comments and thoughts have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe and on Fox Television. He currently is working on his first book tentatively titled "The New Media Playground.”
