- About Me:
- I am the founder and CEO of SchoolPulse, a social media company that is building an online platform for the vibrant, supportive communities that surround K-12 schools. I have four young children (does that make me a founding father?) whose lives often subsume my own. I am actively involved (and often over-extended) as a volunteer in their schools, as a youth sports coach and on several non-profit boards.
I have been involved in a variety of startups and love the small company environment. I started my first company in Russia in 1990 and co-founded 3 others including Yandex, the largest search engine in Russia. I have had a couple that didn’t work out and do some angel investing, too. I spent some time at Forrester Research and am an admitted gadget freak. I love technology and I believe it is truly a force for good.
