What's your favorite commercial? Was it funny? Did it make you smile? Or did you suddenly have heart palpitations wondering if that could happen to you? Whatever it was you may well remember it because it told a story in that either reminded you of something (or someone?) from your past -- or maybe it let you daydream a bit about a story that could be.
Like commercials on TV, online video has a story to tell, and some of the advantages online video has is it's ability to engage online audiences on deeper level than ever before. And with social media in the mix, your video could be the next viral wonder of the world -- if you can get people to watch it that is.
That's why I'm interested in hearing what people like Steve Garfield (@stevegarfield on twitter) have to say. In fact, if you can make the time -- stop in at DLA Piper on Friday and hear what he, Eric Oliver of Converse, and Jeanne Connon (@jconnon on twitter) from the Daily Grommet, have to say.
Here's a little video that might give you some insight into Steve, and check out the event website for other samples and more info on the event. http://bit.ly/kZKPi
Imagine putting video to work for you, growing your audience, and monetizing -- definitely an event (and topic) we should watch.
